Cookie Notice

Effective date: 13 August 2026
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Scheduled review: 13 August 2027

1. Current position

No optional analytics, advertising or behavioural-tracking technology is currently enabled on the OSG launch pages. Google Analytics was detected during the pre-publication audit and has been disabled because ClickSites’ available notice does not provide an equally accessible Reject control or granular preferences.

We do not rely on continued browsing as consent. We will not enable non-essential analytics, advertising pixels or similar tracking unless an effective prior-consent mechanism is implemented and tested.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text records that a website may ask a browser to store. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, tags and device identifiers. Strictly necessary technologies support functions requested by a visitor or the security and delivery of a service. Non-essential technologies, including most analytics and advertising tools, generally require a visitor’s prior choice.

3. Live inventory checked on 13 August 2026

Name or component Provider and purpose Category and duration Before consent?
ClickSites page-delivery and form scripts ClickSites.ai; renders pages, responsive navigation and the native enquiry form. Strictly necessary functionality. Any server-side technical logs are retained under the provider’s operational schedule; no visitor-facing cookie duration was verifiably disclosed. Yes, because the requested page and form cannot operate without their delivery code.
js-cookie library Open-source browser library delivered from jsDelivr as part of the ClickSites page package. Presence of the library does not itself show that a cookie was written. Supporting code; no cookie or duration can be attributed to the library itself. The code library loads with the page.
Google Analytics measurement ID G-V9CL08XXV5 Google; visitor measurement. Non-essential analytics. Detected loading before any choice during audit; disabled on the launch-visible pages on 13 August 2026. It must remain disabled until a compliant control is available.
Brevo Brevo receives name and email only after a visitor deliberately submits the native enquiry form. The complete seven-field enquiry is stored in ClickSites Leads. Form submission service, not passive browser tracking. Contact retention is described in the Privacy Notice. No Brevo iframe, pixel or browser-side tracking component was detected on the audited page. Data is sent on form submission.

4. Consent controls

Because optional analytics and advertising are disabled, the site does not currently display an Accept/Reject banner. There are no optional categories to accept or reject. If OSG introduces a non-essential technology, it will first provide equally accessible Accept and Reject choices, leave optional choices off by default, prevent the technology from operating before an affirmative choice and provide a persistent way to change or withdraw that choice.

5. Browser controls

You may also delete or block browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary functions may affect page or form operation. Browser controls are not used as a substitute for OSG obtaining consent where consent is legally required.

6. Contact and review

Questions may be sent to enquiries@owlsymbolism.com with the subject “Data protection request”. See the Privacy Notice.

OSG will review this notice before 13 August 2027 if there is a material change to law, services, processors, cookies, analytics, regulatory status or data use.
